How to Find Your Google/Gmail Account Creation Date
Curious about when you created your Gmail account? Here’s how to find out!
1. Check the Welcome Email
When you first set up your Gmail account, Google sends a welcome email. You can refer to the date of that email as your account creation date.
However, if you've deleted that welcome email, don’t worry—there’s another easy way to find this information.
2. Check the POP Download Section
Access Gmail Settings: Log into your Gmail account and click on the gear icon (⚙️) in the upper right corner. Select "See all settings."
Find the Date: Go to the
Forwarding and POP/IMAP
tab. Look for the line that says,POP is enabled for all mail that has arrived since <date>.
This date indicates when your account was created.
Now you have two ways to discover your Gmail account creation date! Whether you refer to the welcome email or check the settings, it’s easy to find out when you joined the Google community. Happy exploring!
