I just setup a new gitlab runner, but job keep failing with an error:

error: could not lock config file /root/.gitconfig: Operation not permitted

I sense this could be caused by a buggy gitlab runner version, I switch gitlab/gitlab-runner from tag alpine-v14.2.0 to ubuntu-v14.2.0, and problem solved.
